Jinyu Shiwang (施王金羽)
I am a trailing PhD student with Dr. Wei Peng at the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, and a PhD candidate in the Environmental Engineering program at The Pennsylvania State University.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Nanjing University, China, and a master’s degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.
My research aims to develop an integrated framework to address energy transition, climate change, and associated health risks in the context of deep future uncertainties. My current projects focus on:
- Leveraging the exploratory scenario ensemble approach to address deep future uncertainties, thus informing robust decision-making for decarbonization; and
- Coupling the energy model (e.g., GCAM) with the reduced-form air quality model (e.g., InMAP) to assess the coordinated impacts of climate change mitigation and air pollution exposure.
